Thom is a native of South Carolina. He graduated from Union High School in 1975, and received his B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Clemson University in 1979. In the fall of 1980, Thom entered the University of South Carolina School of Law, earning his J.D. in 1983. He was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in November, 1983 and has been in private practice in Union, South Carolina continuously since 1983.
The primary emphasis of Thom's practice has been trial work, both criminal and civil. A founding member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, and a former President and board member of that professional organization, Thom has established a reputation as a staunch defender of individual rights. He has successfully defended hundreds of clients charged with criminal offenses over his 24 years of practice and his trial experience ranges from minor traffic offenses to capital murder!
In addition to an active criminal defense practice, Thom has represented numerous victims of automobile accidents, tractor/trailer accidents, on-the-job accidents, and premises liability cases. In each case, Thom has diligently worked to maximize his clients' recovery and ensure fair compensation for their damages.
Thom is a member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the South Carolina Trial Lawyers Association , the American Association for Justice and the ACLU. He is admitted to practice in all state courts.
Thom has also been an active community volunteer, having served on the boards of United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and Union County Disabilities and Special Needs Board. He and his family are active members of First Presbyterian Church of Union, and Thom has served in innumerable capacities with the church on both the local, Presbytery and denominational levels.

Pete G. Diamaduros

Pete Diamaduros' practice is concentrated on the defense of people accused of criminal wrongdoing, people going through the dissolution of their marriages, and people or families who have suffered an injury or wrongful death in accidents or at work.
Pete has tried hundreds of cases before juries and judges over his 20 years in the practice of law. He has successfully defended those accused of both “minor” and serious crimes in the criminal courts of South Carolina.
In the civil arena, Pete has tried many cases to verdict and has been able to successfully settle cases ranging from simple fender benders to multiple wrongful death cases.
Pete was born in Chester, South Carolina in 1961. His family moved to Union in 1963 where his father opened Hearts Restaurant. Pete grew up working in the restaurant and could be seen working there throughout his years as a student and even after he became a lawyer.
Pete graduated from Union High School in 1979. He received his B.A. degree in Accounting from Wofford College in 1983. After finishing Wofford, Pete entered the University of South Carolina School of Law and received his J.D. in 1986.
In 1992 Pete was a founding member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He serves on the South Carolina Supreme Court Commission on Lawyer Conduct, and has served on the State of South Carolina State Ethic's Commission (2000 – 2005), and South Carolina Bar Judicial Qualifications Commission (1999 - 2000).
Pete has served on numerous boards and service clubs such as, Rotary International (President 1999 - 2000), The Wofford College Terrier Club Board of Directors (President 2004 and 2005), St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church Board of Directors, 70,001 Workforce Development Board, Union County United Way Board of Directors, and Hillbrook Baseball Board of the Directors.
